Omega Music Library Vol.13 (Compositions) WAV

Introducing Polaris, the 13th release from Omega Music Library — a meticulously crafted collection inspired by the lush textures of late-70s and early-80s Japanese fusion and rare wamono records. This pack blends expressive live piano recordings from a 1984 Yamaha upright with the unmistakable shimmer of the Solina String Ensemble, layered alongside OML’s extensive lineup of era-authentic synths and analog outboard gear.

Every sample was individually processed through a 1979 AKAI GX-635D reel-to-reel tape machine using 10-inch Maxell XLI 35-180B Master Tape — a format widely used in Japanese recording studios during the late 70s. The result is a warm, cinematic, and slightly mysterious tone reminiscent of legendary composers such as Yuji Ohno, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Kentaro Haneda. Fully analog and free of digital instruments, Polaris delivers an authentic, timeless sound designed for deeply emotive production.

The vintage analog equipment used throughout the pack includes: Roland Super Jupiter (MKS-80), Prophet 5 Rev.3, Korg Trident, Roland VP-330, Solina String Ensemble, 1984 Yamaha Upright Piano, AKG C414 microphones, AKG C451-E ribbon mic, Suitcase Rhodes MKI, vintage MXR Chorus Pedal, RE-201 Space Echo, Deckard’s Dream, Moog Matriarch, Empirical Labs Fatso EL7X, and UA LA-610 — ensuring rich harmonic depth and character in every composition.

Omega Music Library has collaborated with artists such as Royce da 5’9″, Curren$y, Skyzoo, Saigon, Del the Funky Homosapien, Statik Selektah, and even the iconic Studio Ghibli, among others.

Polaris includes 10 full compositions available as complete mixes and/or fully separated stems. Each track is clearly labeled with BPM and key for effortless workflow integration. As always, Omega Music Library guarantees hassle-free sample clearance.

All audio files are delivered at 44.1kHz / 24-bit quality.
